Mathematics is an essential life skill that we use without thinking about it. If students are experiencing gaps in their mathematical understanding, math becomes a challenge that is often daunting for students. Math gaps don't disappear because each new concept builds upon the previous concept. One math misconception can result in weaker math foundation skills making it more difficult to obtain mastery.
